Stake puts together 840 72-hour kits, 400 heat cans

SANDY, Utah — More than 300 people from eight wards converged on the Sandy Utah Granite View Stake building on Thursday, May 27. Tables piled high with boxes, cans and water bottles circled the room. Lines of people, some carrying three or more mylar bags at a time, intently followed lists of instructions as they carefully filled each bag with enough food, snacks and emergency supplies to last one person for 72 hours.
